Ansell Casey says it’s important to remember that we all have the capacity to make mistakes.
The life skills professional has taught his students to be better at a number of areas.
“When I taught it to them, I taught them how to think like an expert and how to analyse information,” he said.
“But they also have to think of their family and friends and what they need to be doing to have a positive outlook on the world.”
Ansell says he also teaches his students the importance of self-care, taking time to rest, make time to read and reflect.
“People need to learn how to manage their own stress, because that can have a huge impact on their health,” he says.
“I do teach it because I’m trying to teach them how we should live.”
The life skill series has helped Ansell raise more than $1 million for charities and causes in Australia, New Zealand and the US.
“The way I’m teaching it is to tell people that they are not the only person in the world that can make mistakes,” he explains.
